Russell Murdoch, Baltimore ophthalmologist, was born on 12 Feb. 1839. He married in 1873 and had four daughters. Murdoch died of a cerebral hemorrhage on 19 Mar. 1905. Murdoch received an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1861. He was Resident Physician to the Baltimore Almshouse and Attending Physician to the Baltimore General Dispensary.
